Overview

WyzFit customizes your plan based on goals, experience, and equipment. The more you log, the smarter the plan becomes.

How do I get started?

1. Complete the onboarding flow

  • Answer questions about your experience and goals.
  • Select the equipment you have access to.
  • Let WyzFit set an initial difficulty level.

2. Adjust sets, reps, and weight as needed

  • If a set feels too hard, lower reps or weight.
  • If it feels too easy, increase weight slightly.
  • Your edits help WyzFit tune future sessions.

3. Use exercise instructions

Open any exercise to see the demo video plus the How to Perform, Muscles, and Gear tabs. You can slow the demo video if you want to review technique.

4. Join the community

Visit Profile > Join Community to connect with other lifters, share wins, and ask questions.

Should I train to failure?

For beginner lifters

  • Focus on form and learning movement patterns.
  • Give your body time to adapt to new loads.
  • Avoid pushing to failure too early.

For experienced lifters

  • Occasional max effort sets can be useful.
  • Instead of failure, add a set or small weight increase.
  • Progress should feel challenging, not punishing.
Key takeaway: Push hard, but prioritize consistency and good form.

If I cannot finish the recommended sets, reps, or weight

You have two simple options:

  1. Lower the reps while keeping the same weight.
  2. Lower the weight while keeping the same reps.
Important: WyzFit adapts to your changes and updates future recommendations.

If my first set feels too easy

  1. Complete the recommended first set.
  2. Add a small weight increase for the next set.
  3. If the second set is still easy, increase for the final set.

These adjustments are logged and help WyzFit calibrate future sessions.

Why are weights lower than expected?

  • New movements start conservatively for safety.
  • Time off can reduce your starting load.
  • Older logs may influence early suggestions.

If it feels too light, increase weight slightly and the system will learn from your input.

Do I have to follow WyzFit recommendations?

No. WyzFit is designed for customization. You can:

  • Build workouts from scratch using the exercise library.
  • Edit sets, reps, weight, or intervals on any movement.
  • Swap exercises for similar alternatives.
  • Save workouts for future use.
  • Use Manage Exercises to recommend more, less, or exclude lifts.
  • Enable Focus Exercises to prioritize a curated set of lifts.
