Getting started
Why can't WyzFit create a workout with my exact combination?
There are a few common reasons:
- Equipment limits: some muscles require specific gear.
- Bodyweight-only mode filters out weighted movements.
- Short session duration reduces the number of exercises.
- A narrow training split limits the pool for that day.
Why am I not seeing exercises that match my equipment?
Try these quick checks:
Update your equipment list
- Open your plan settings and select Equipment.
- Confirm everything you have access to is selected.
Review exercise preferences
- Open Manage Exercises in your plan settings.
- Move anything marked Less or Excluded back to normal.
Manually add preferred exercises
- Tap Add Exercise in a workout.
- Search the exercise library and add it to the session.
Manual additions teach the algorithm what you prefer and influence future sessions.
Workout recommendations
Why do I keep seeing the same exercises?
Repetition can happen if your equipment is limited, your training split is narrow, or you have excluded many exercises.
To add variety:
- Increase Exercise Variability in your plan settings.
- Add more equipment to your list.
- Reduce exclusions in Manage Exercises.
- Switch to a broader training split for that week.
Why are workouts shorter than the duration I chose?
Session length varies with exercise count, rest time, and workout structure. A shorter session usually means fewer exercises or faster rest periods.
What you can do:
- Increase your duration setting.
- Add extra exercises or sets.
- Follow the suggested rest times.
Why are exercises ordered this way?
Exercise order is based on training principles and your history. If you prefer a different order, you can reorder within the workout.
Why are recommended weights unexpectedly low?
- New exercise: starts conservatively.
- Time off: recommendations ease back in.
- Older logs: lighter entries affect future loads.
Will weights drop if I take a break?
Yes. After a break, WyzFit lowers weight suggestions to reduce injury risk. You can always adjust upward and the system will adapt.
Adjusting workouts manually
The workout feels too easy. What should I do?
- Increase sets, reps, weight, or interval time.
- Add an accessory exercise from the library.
- Update your experience level if needed.
Consistent logging helps WyzFit match your true strength level.
Why am I getting exercises that feel too advanced?
Try these adjustments:
- Lower your experience level in plan settings.
- Swap the movement for a simpler alternative.
- Reduce exercise variability for more familiar options.
When should I update my training experience?
Update it any time your training changes. Beginner opens foundational movements, while higher levels increase variety and complexity.
What if I do not like an exercise?
Use Replace Exercise or mark Recommend Less or Exclude in Manage Exercises. These signals guide future recommendations.
Final tip
